These four shooting drills are the second part of a group used by former DeMatha Catholic High School Basketball Performance Coach Alan Stein to develop balance in their players.

There is no arguing that developing better balance while shooting will develop better shooters. You might not like the fact that players are traveling in some of the drills.

You will have to make the decision on what you believe about the exact drills, but as always I hope these are some food for thought to develop your own drills that will improve your players’ balance while shooting

Alan states during the videos that the purpose of these drills is not to simulate game shots, but rather to improve athleticism to be able to practice game shots at game spots at game speed.
