Coach: Step Mullins
As a young kid, sports became a huge part of my life. Being the youngest of 7 children, I was always being carted from one game to the next, no matter the season. Basketball played a huge role in my life, starting at he age of 5. If my older brothers played it, I wanted to play too. I am no stranger to the game. I was a 3 sport athlete throughout high school, and played varsity, as a freshman, at both Lake Region and Sacopee Valley HS, and went on to play in college at Salem State University. I attend SMCC, where I am working on finishing up a business degree in Business & Sport Management. Over the last 5 years I have been coaching grades 4th-6th with Scott Hatch. He has helped relight the fire I had for the love of the game. This year is my very first year of being named Head Coach. Being a Head Coach is an honor and my goals as so are to create a positive, and supportive environment so that every player, regardless of ability, has a great experience.
“The only difference between practice and a game is what you’re wearing.”
