1. Start with your knees bent and the ball in front of your forehead, with feet and elbows pointed at the basket.
  2. If right-handed, have your right hand under the ball and your left hand on the side of the ball. If left-handed, do the opposite.
  3. Jump straight up. Don’t go forward or backward.
  4. At the top of your jump, snap your wrist and extend your arm. This will send the ball upward to the basket. The higher the shot the better.
  5. Finish your follow-through on your shot and land in the same spot. Be ready for the next play.
